Hello! I just did a photoshoot with Firstday 2 weeks ago, a retail shop located in Far East Plaza and really love some of the clothes from the various blogshops. TRACY's Shoot:: Spooky Action

I really enjoyed myself working on Tracy's set as her assistant director. It was so much fun working with her team, to mention, they are Don , manotch, Esssmon, KX and I am thankful for giving such an awesome opportunity to work in her set. Being a role of an assistant director, besides assisting the director with her actors, literally everything has to go in place on the dot and to put it in lame man terms, basically, AD in short needs to make sure all the shot are done and be on time for all things, you control everyone on set which sometimes make you seem to be like a total bitch. You go like this (QUOTED from manotchh) for every change in shot :
"Manotchhhh how long more you need?"
"Manotchhhh can oredi?"
"Manotchhh hurry up!?"
"Essssmon!"

Esssmon, the art director really did a fabulous job, I really love his handmade props. He told me he actually drove around the whole Singapore like a Karang Guni man, to collect old items and to remake and piece them together like abstract art pieces. They were really interesting and creative to see and also the way Manoj lighted some of the scene, it was beautiful especially for the corridor shoot, he used all the primary colours gel to light up the scene and reminded me works of the famous Hongkong director, Wong kar Wai. Lovely, I must say. To marry both together, texture (form) and the lighting, it was quite inspiring. I really looking forward to see Tracy's final piece, what's more to her own singular piece - she will be doing an installation film art entity rather just a film by itself. Sound realy cool, isn't it?

I know I can't write. But I am glad, I own a blog with a humble amount of readership and recognition. Hence, I hope time will permit me to write more and bring a better me this year to communicate with my avid readers more effectively. I tend to take relatively longer time to blog compare to other blogger because I was suspected to be afflicted with mild dyslexia when I was younger. It's a family things. Till now, it takes me double effort to write a proper sentence and I need to re -check it over many times just to make sure I make sense. However, it doesn't hold me back to becoming better even though I told no one about my condition.

Graduation will be happening soon in April/May and Granny smiles whenever I tell her I am going to put on the 'square hat' and ideally, I really want to pose a family painting cum photo (with my Ah gong, Ah ma, my sister, my Dad maybe, my small and big aunty) and place it in my house proudly. I still remember vividly what Mrs Lim, my primary school form teacher had said to everyone in my class more than a decade back, she said : 'You work hard now because your ultimate goal is to get into the top university in Singapore.' I felt so strongly for what she had said, it was so true. So after school, I hurried back home that day, tapped my Ah Gong's shoulder and I told him, I want to be the first University Graduate in the family. Of course, he scoffed upon hearing that
, never to expect this to come from me. I was young, thus everything seen far to him. I guess. One more semester and I'll be done with school. This semester is horrifying though, lots of terrible compulsory modules to complete. Well...

人因为梦想而伟大，I am chasing after my dreams after that. Sorry, I am not going to share it till I make it work so please stay with me to look out for me and work hard together to make our dream works. No one is going to get into my way.

Last but not least, I hope to have a splendid birthday celebration this year with someone awesome! I wish for more than just a birthday cake, dinner treat and birthday gift ... I want something more demanding but you still can't figure out what. Tell me, what's a perfect birthday celebration to you? Alas, I am just ranting for more.... I am not that sort actually. Heeeeeee.

Want to get a car/van licence this year, Macbook Pro and a good video/camera DSLR and to travel around again. Learning a new language and taking up new skill. Ya I know right, so many things I want to do. Time is never enough!

I am over and done with year 2011 , not looking back but good memories shall stay with me. Moving on well, I feel really happier and more relieved that I've much more control in my own desirable life - working towards a space I'd called it my own. No restriction and totally 100% freedom towards wisdom. Thank you for loving me. Thank god for allowing us to meet and I always believe everything happens for a good reason. Goodnight.

I was super excited to bring in the second batch of Venice watches and they are all selling like hotcakes once again! They are round, quartz watch with Millefiori (thousand flowers) crystal, of handmade Murano glass (the city well known for its glassmakers). Each watch has a multicolored, Millefiori crystal. The diameter of the watch is one inch; with a Mother-of-Pearl-like dial. Each watch comes with an illustrated Murano glass guarantee. I haven't done stop motion for quite a while, and stop motion is such an interesting technique to tell a story in many different manner. I did one 1years back -My Faminely - a dark film about my family. It was screened in the Arts House last week and was well received. My film was even selected to continue to be screened on the second day... I really like that feeling when there are people appreciating my work. Too bad I can't share it here. But one day, if there is another screening ( unlikely so) do come down and support me. Meanwhile, I can't wait to look at my footage next year to start editing on another short film that I did. Anyway, the main point is, I will be posting up more inspirational videos here to share since I have been addicted to watching such beautiful things and hope you would want to make one film (tell your story) of your very own singular style one day. It's gonna be a world of videos.

It has been all good this December. It was lovely to catch up with some old friends last Saturday at Duxton Pigeon Hole for Kim's awesome Fashion Trunk Show - London's Calling. (Will be blogging more about this in the later post) Meanwhile, I can't wait to brag about my new hairstyle. Well, I mean it is still short, but I am loving my hair every dayyyyy because it is treating me well! No bad hair day, thanks to Allan my hairstylist for taking really great care of my hair, giving me such an effective hair and scalp treatment plus impressive massage that come along with it during the wash. I love the massage best when the assistant put a hot towel on my back of my neck to freshen me up after a long hectic day of work.

I am sitting here at Northpoint Starbuck in front of my small notebook with my favourite iced chocolate drink. It is overcrowded with student, families and friends. I’ve finally found a seat at a very corner of the cafe and I am satisfied because that’s all I really need. Planning ahead for cool December as well as year 2012, I am looking forward for betterment in life. To share, one of the greatest things I have done this year is to be able to direct my own film that I've always wanted to.

Well, I am so glad that I am the first out of the 15 films to finish shooting my final year project. I am very thankful to the people who have greatly contributed to my film on set. Yeah, hard work really paid off. Though there is still post production to go, I am extremely touched by everyone's effort on set, thank you for believing in me and my film.

Chen Hsi, my great advisor, thank you for giving me the trust and never failed to guide me all along.

Xinni, my producer, is a god's gift. For this film, things couldn't be done on time so quickly without her persistence and eagerness. She's the best person I ever have in ADM. Xinni, I have so much to say to you, thank you is really not good enough! We need to go for dinner or something to express my love/gratitude privately. Sound so gay!

Don, my beloved Director of Photography, I must say it is really fun working with you! Thank you for standing up for me and believing in my film.

Geylang : At the Bridge

They are mainly foreign workers from China having their activities on the bridge.

Geylang is known for their red light district. While it is a red light district that provides legal brothels, it also consists of other premises and activities that make it so busy. From different kinds of shops and services, restaurants till adult entertainments like pubs, bars, massage parlors and karaoke premises that can be seen along the road. Seemingly, this bridge oversee all the activities happening in Geylang. Also, there are many foreign workers hanging around the bridge that interest me much.

In Paris, I was walking down the street with Xinni when suddenly Xinni tagged my shoulder and said 'look!'.. I turned my head and saw an interesting 2d street art figure made of many small square pixels(I regretted not taking any picture of it) at the corner on some random grey wall. At that moment I was so inspired and many questions started burning in my head -'Wouldn't it be nice if Singapore has something like that, and everywhere we go, we are always feed with such amazing street art?' I came back Singapore, I didn't know how to start and where to start because it is illegal to 'vandalise' on the wall.. and I am glad I did it anyway in my own style. I pasted some of these photos in Geylang using blue tack !

I like roaming around on my own when I feel like I need to be alone, I look around and sometimes I will take random pictures because I didn't have to think too much. I go with my feeling and I like it.

Styling Job for Nassim Print Ad

Hello! Combing spider web, yes I am blogging finally! My film production has come to an end, and I am looking forward to the next phase for post production next year . I have so much to say, and I shall leave it to the next post when Yating, my set photographer passes me the photos so as to have a more elaborate and detailed write-out.

Previously, if you had been following my blog, I was styling for a job for the Nassim Hill Condominium print advertisement above. It was my first time working with SUPERHYPPERREAL production and I thought it was actually quite a good working experience with Super. At set, I like to observe and I come to a conclusion how a high demanding environment could allow one to push themselves further, and take them a level higher. True enough, it is stressful but the satisfaction of achieving something is never as fulfilling as doing something easy. I have so much to learn and it may sound cliche as it may be yet attitude is really the key to success. Always do your part well so that no one has any excuse to give. I still remembered I was working till late to pack and prep the clothes 3 hours before the shoot till 5am because I forgot to get a ribbon bow for the little girl. In the end, I cut out the cloth from the red tie and sew 2 ribbon bows myself for the very first time, and they actually looked quite good! (or can get it from mustafa but it is much cheaper to sew than to take midnight cab) Haha. I felt a sense of relief. We cannot afford to miss out small details like that.

Anyway, the ad looks really awesome after 3d rendering. I grade myself 6/10 .. because I didn't do a good job in my time management.

Tuesday's Report; 星期二特写

Hello, the past few weeks of my schedule was packed madly with my preparation for my short film. At the same time, Tuesday's Report decided to feature me, bongqiuqiu and JQ for their Channel 8's documentary. The process of filming is never easy, and definitely tedious. We had at least 3 days shoot per person, each lasting about 6 hours or more.Don't expect too much from me, I had many NGs takes as most of the questions are impromptu and I am really bad at interviews. Eww. I still remembered there was a segment that me, qiu and jq were taking turn to answer a few question and I was always the one who had very little comment to make. Anyway, I just got very comfortable with qiu around and I was feeling very sleepy on the couch due to my hectic work from school and styling job I had taken these past weeks. I couldn't help looking 'stone', it was already 1am...nevertheless everything ended on a goodnote and I need to improve on the way I speak too. My mandarin is getting really 'rusty'.

Ok I give you one very good scenario. For a good laugh. (maybe is not that funny I don't know, let me try.)

Producer : Where are you?

Me: Geylang

Producer: What are you doing?

Me: Taking Photo??!!!

Everyone (including crews): Laughed out Loud!

Using instant film camera to take pics of the greedy deers, they come to you in group especially when you have food in your hand. I don't enjoy feeding them that much, they can be quite aggressive unlike KK keep buying biscuits to feed. He is too rich, you see! Anyway, I haven't developed the photos since June. Hur hur.

Recently I just did a Singtel ad with a bunch of cool-looking people - Anmarie, Ben, Ming, Sarah and etc. Well, from the photo I look amazingly fat, even my grandparents couldn't recognise me. Haha. But overall, the photo looks really stunning and the young talented photographer, Alvelyn Alko really did a marvellous job, don't you think so? She is only 24 and she has already achieved quite abit. Yes I do like her work , most of her other work has interesting composition of her subjects that makes it looks outstanding. What do you think?

I know this Japan post comes abit too late but I am loving these photos & more. Time in Japan with Wilson and KK were really mad awesome and tiring! I became physically fitter after I came back, just because KK and Wilson were never tired of walking. We could walk 12 hours non-stop in Kyoto especially. I really gave it to them. Ok, I have never been to Disneyland before and the thought of how a big guy spending time alone in Disneyland, puzzled me much. Then he told me his friends pulled him along and bought him there for FREE!! Aww Disneyland in Japan isn't that cheap for your information. For J, please bring me along for the next trip!

GGV collection 7 is launching this weekend! I am in love with these colourful knitted wear and I wish I could keep all of them for myself. I am impressed with the well-knitted patterns, lovely colours and the quality of it. It is definitely the best time to wear them out to keep you cosy for this rainy season especially in Singapore.

Also, GGV is hiring! I am probably going to hire a part-timer to help me with some nitty gritty stuffs to increase GGV productivity because I have tons of other works piling up for me as well. Yay! Oh la! It was sunshine after the rain, at last! I have been postponing my shoot due to the cranky weather and I feel really helpless about it. Oh well. Finger crossed, let's hope the weather will be good tomorrow too as I have one more shoot to go! As you know, I am looking forward for this coming collection as there are alot of fine styling to do and I can't wait to share. On a side note, Flaunt Label is a new online shop and they have a few staple pieces you may want to keep them in your wardrobe.

2011 is coming to the end and there is no time to waste. There are bigger things awaiting for me to make it happen. I am filming my short film coming November and this film is going to be so important to me, I can't screw up. No. We are in the midst of pre-production and I am really glad to have so many capable people working on my set. To mention, they are Xinni, KangXiong, Philothea, Don, Sly and Meihung. Thank you guy for believing in me and willing to be part of it. Also, nothing compares getting Chen Hsi as my advisor, as well as sponsors coming in to fund my film. I keep counting my blessings till today and I don't want to disappoint myself. Let's get focus!

Lovely Picnic at London

I was so much in love roaming on my own and making new friends on my last day in London. After a relaxing fun picnic with my new found friend, we visited the city area of London, the Trafalgar Square. It was such a hot sunny day, we simply soaked our leg at the fountain outside the national gallery! I enjoyed myself so much in London and I can't wait to go back to visit again! Wish I've more time in London to visit more museums and to get to know more about my new-found friend.. She is one of the few nicest people I met in UK. I am so blissed. Again. One thing that I was really proud of and I must say it is one the rarest moments of my life, I slept in the airport of London overnight alone! Not too bad observing people coming in and out of the airport, it just made me ponder much and gave me overwhelming inspiration that alone-in-airport-night. London is super safe, overall I was really proud of myself that I survived on my own alone especially on my last night there. I can't help smiling to myself when I am blogging about it, I wonder when will be my next visit, what purpose, who will the be one travelling with me to..london.

Hello readers. Yea, I am a boy now. Obviously, I chopped off my hair and I am sure I won't get so much modelling jobs as before, oh well it is not that important anyway.. I have no regrets. I told Marcus I really want to do a very personal lifestyle shoot, something familiar and comfortable and I thought of my messy room might be one of the best options to shoot. Not the best comfy environment, but you know there are still strong attachment to it no matter how bizzare my room can be. I share one small room with my cousin, my aunty and a dog by the way. I have literally no room to walk at night Yeah. Insane. No? Still, I kinda love how the photos turn out to be.

Poland: Brekkie @ Ewa's house!

Day 1 brekkie from left bottom up to the righ: Radish( slightly sweet, refreshing), healthy fresh margarine from the mountain( I love it!), pickle (taste really juicy, not at all sour, totally different from the kind we had in Singapore), locally produced cherry Jam (the best jam I ever had!), cheeses, salad, egg with mayo, sausage( taste like bacon), frenchtoast, ham. Yum Yum.

We were super pampered and blissed! Early in the morning, we were greeted with such sumptuous & yummy polish traditional brekkie prepared by Ewa. Awww, thank you so much!
Local currents. Redcurrent and blackcurrent! Such beautiful fruits, we were amazed by the outer beauty of the fruits and we started to play and camwhore with it. We really love poland, everything literally. I want to go back with my lover if that day ever comes...

My lovely friends, Marcus Sie, Wilson Chua, kk, my sister and her boyfriend, Alvin all came down to Shanghai Dolly last week to give me their support at the Singapore Blog Awards. Though I was not the winner, I was happy to catch up with some old friends there and I think it is an honour to be nominated as the top 10 finalist for Best Fashion Blogger and Best shopping Blogger. We were supposed to dress up as a history character, guess what was I? As I was very much inspired by my grandma fashion times/era during the 50s, such Jumbo triple waver Barrel was way popular back then. Hence, hair was the highlight for the whole appearance. Allan was very patient dealing with my hair and I was overjoyed with the result after that! Last but not least, I style myself with a black vintage dress pairing with a velvet low cut boot and a black feather earring with some tinge of gold to finish the whole look.

On a side note, it has been a crazy week since I came back from Europe. A wake up call too soon..

Hi people, I am back! To update, I am featured in Seventeen Magazine August edition! Just came back 2 days ago and I quickly return to the blogasphere so as not to neglect this space too much. Even it was a short 24 days trip in Europe, I feel like I had been away for very long. I miss the local food and my friends here. Ha, ironically, I also can't stop ranting about the hot humid Singapore at the same time! Oh well. Screen Singapore exhibited world renowned artist Salvador Dali and featured 3 popular local designers Thomas Wee, Ashley Isham and Frederick Lee in Marina Bay Sand during the month of June. I wasn't aware of the dress code and I was super underdressed for that, I nearly gave it a miss till Wilson convinced me not to... Well..

Street Style: Styling a causal shoot in Japan

I was assigned to style the model for a causal shoot in Japan last minutes and I had to make use of what I had.. The first outfit, I play with Split- complementary colour scheme - mustard yellow, blue and red to make the model pop out from the dull background at the train station.

Next I had been very much in love with bohemian style, so I went on with something fun with simple flowery details to suit her cheery character for her second look, keeping in mind to have something different from her first outfit. On a side note, Yurie, the model looks so much like Elle from S.H.E right? What do you think?

Most people can agree that the hippie style is usually grounded in respect for the natural world, communal living and artistic experimentation particularly in music with earthy style that is comfortable, funky and unique, usually can mix and match and has no fit definition. These trend setters usually come from the artists themselves during the 60s... On the other hand, Bohemian is like very much influenced by their lifestyle, anyone can dress freely according to their freewill, one good example is people living in the tribal areas. Most of their attire are usually found man-made like leather wear, handmade embroidery wear and bead works. As mentioned earlier, hippie and boho share similar sense of style usually associated with beadworks, leather and embroidery, therefore the differences between both trends are often confused. I was super thrilled with the history background during the 1960s with regards to the similar style yet different background at that period of time. People are also usually influenced and aspired by a certain style due to a famous painting or prominent icon or even music itself. Hippie movement origins can be traced back to classical culture, and to European social movements in the early 20th century. It was said by 1968, hippie-influenced fashions were beginning to take off in the mainstream, especially for youths and younger adults, many of whom may have aspired to emulate the hardcore movements now living in tribalistic communes, but had no overt connections to them. Fashion, due to its cyclical nature.. boho-chic trend is back and really a fun and comfortable wear to be out with friends during this summer season!

Bohochic Style 1 - boho = hippie?

70s knitted wears are coming back in trend again! I still vividly remember my auntie used to own a whole chunk of knitted wears, high waisted mini skirt, bell bottoms etc in our shared wardrobe because I just love ransacking her clothes and to try it on. I know. So vain I am. Soon after that, she got married, moved out of the house and the clothes went outdated after that. No one cares about those clothes that were left at the corner, eventually sold to the rag and bone man who loved it. Yet, these used to be unwanted clothes comes back with high in demand again! I called it the fashion cycle.

Anyway, I was figuring out the differences between the 70s hippie and bohemian style. Hippie style tends to favored relaxed, comfortable and natural clothing styles although there were some very unique and imaginative things done with leather and beading, the norm for most common seen with teenagers was bluejeans and a tee shirt (tie-dyed or not). And guess what the boho look, which owed much to the hippie styles that developed in the middle to late 1960s. Similarly, Boho also played very much on beading and embroidery, usually features included "floaty" skirts (notably long white ones), furry gilets, embroidered tunics, cropped jackets, large faux-coin belts, sheepskin boots and cowboy boots, baggy cardigans and "hobo bags". Hence, if you are dressed like a boho but commented that you look hippie or vice versa, both of you are totally so not wrong! However, there are still distinctive differences between the hippie and bohemian style you may want to take note, I will mention it more in my next post. Perhaps. Stay tuned!

I am really thankful to Kimberely for sponsoring me a wonderful low V back sexy piece from her Bloodbuzz Boutique and Gerra for her awesome make up service and simple yet elegant hair-do she had done for me. Basically, Gerra pulled some fringe to the front and tied a ponytail and braided my hair so that it would look neat and trendy as well. It was a super hectic day as I had to rush from the Superbrand Award event at Shangri La Hotel to another product launch event at Meritus Mandarin Hotel on that day, especially it happened one after another consecutively. Kimberely is a talented local designer who has just graduated from London College of Fashion (University of the Arts London) and just started her own boutique shop online. She designs and creates an eclectic juxtaposition of wearable elegance and edge. Inspired by luxury and street, old school soul and indie rock; hollywood glamour, romantic splendor and an insatiable wanderlust, the line features a modern twist on timeless classics. On a side note, I just started my own talents management agency and I was in charge of providing as well as styling the models for Fresh Up Launch. Usually, I will be obliged to style the models according to the company's logo colours. As such, I followed their branding colours and decided to dress them with yellow tube tops with purple knee-lengthed pencil skirts to look appropriate for such formal event so that they will look decently sexy yet classic and presentable to introduce the product to the invited guest. I accessorized the outfit with a white belt that came with a golden bucket to give the body a perfect shape.

I have been observing the latest walkway shows (this year Paris Fashion Week)/magazines/posters) since a few months ago and I know my doubt is certainly cleared and I am very right about it now.

Gap teeth models are wanted!

Hence do not rush to the dentist if you have a big distance between your front teeth. I will prove my point further. For instance, in this season America's Next Top Model, a contestant was encouraged to widen the gap between her teeth to transform her into another victim of fashion's dictatorial crazes. Read here.

"Visit the dental to mend the gap? No, please shave off a portion of my front teeth!"

Due to the craving into such recent new fashion trend, young girls in pursuit of a modeling career are now visiting the dentist to get their teeth shaved off. But dentists call this defect diastema.

Glossy magazines and the beauty industry giants are singing praises to gap teeth which don’t spoil the person but make her look outstanding. Today gap teeth are highly in demand as it is even considered to be an evidence of sexuality.

I was so distracted by Vanessa Paradis's teeth in the one of the recent movies that she acted. Most of the time I can't help it but to keep looking at her teeth whenever she revealed her teeth. Perhaps, this is a good example to mean by a perfect imperfection. On the side note, heartbreaker is really an awesome movie.

Japan was freezing cold! The temperature was as low as 10 degree and had been drizzling non-stop from the day I landed on Japan. I couldn't help putting more and more clothes on when I got out of the train, while most of the Japanese who walked past me was mostly in their light wear! I wonder how they did it! I was trembling in cold goshs! We stayed in a traditional hostel in Shinjuku and the 2 guy totally fell in love with that cosy place called Toco. The small house reeked of pleasant wooden smell, the beautiful flowers and trees and a warm sunny day outside greeted us the next morning, we almost felt like we were in the world of heaven.

I have alot fun at Haji Lane playing with a new set of wardrobe full of flamboyant colours that I just imported 2 weeks ago for geck geck vintage next collection - Melancholy colours. What an irony name right? Well... I will explain in my next post since this entry should be something happy!

Talking about colours, it can be quite interesting how you really want to match your top/bottom/accessories/shoes of different colours together. Ever feel insecure whether the colours of outfits that you match with will actually work out for you? Well, perhaps I could share with you how to play with colours using the guide of a colour wheel and how it allows you to build your confidence of mixing and matching your attire without going wrong at all. Colour wheel is amazing! Let me tell you why...

Below are shown the basic colour chords based on the colour wheel.

Complementary color scheme

Colors that are opposite each other on the color wheel are considered to be complementary colors (example: red and green).

The high contrast of complementary colors creates a vibrant look especially when used at full saturation. This color scheme must be managed well so it is not jarring.

Complementary color schemes are tricky to use in large doses, but work well when you want something to stand out.

You don't have to necessary go for the red and green because you will look like a christmas tree if you did. Complementary colour like Orange/mustard colour can go well with blue.

Analogous color scheme
Analogous color schemes use colors that are next to each other on the color wheel. They usually match well and create serene and comfortable designs.

Analogous color schemes are often found in nature and are harmonious and pleasing to the eye.

Make sure you have enough contrast when choosing an analogous color scheme.

Choose one color to dominate, a second to support. The third color is used (along with black, white or gray) as an accent.

Analogous colours are usually easier to match with be it accessories/shoes/top and bottom. Follow this colour scheme will never go wrong and is one of the safest guides.

BLUE, VIOLET AND RED

Triadic color scheme
A triadic color scheme uses colors that are evenly spaced around the color wheel.

Triadic color schemes tend to be quite vibrant, even if you use pale or unsaturated versions of your hues.

To use a triadic harmony successfully, the colors should be carefully balanced - let one color dominate and use the two others for accent.

These combination of colours are my favourite when it comes to matching of clothes. (:

YELLOW, PURPLE AND RED

Split-Complementary color scheme
The split-complementary color scheme is a variation of the complementary color scheme. In addition to the base color, it uses the two colors adjacent to its complement.

This color scheme has the same strong visual contrast as the complementary color scheme, but has less tension.

These colours scheme are usually the funkiest out of all the above. It makes you really pop out from the rest of the crowd!

Tilly 7 way tunic top dress is under the versatillty range designed by Tilly Soelistyo. A local designer who believes in wearable clothes with a touch of understated elegance. I felt so bad that I actually misplaced this really awesome chic-powering dress which has been lying in my luggage strangely for quite some time. Well, I don't know how it actually gets there...but thanks goodness, this dress will never run out of fashion trend for its simplicity yet distinct! It is made in really good quality fabrics and fine workmanship. The best part of this simple dress yet to be told : it could be worn in 7 different ways! I just happen to make it the 8th way look! I finish it with some accessories so that I won't look too plain and I love my handmade ring very much. Made up of many screws and put together into a ring! How MAD awesome!

Ok in case you are wondering if I have chopped off my hair, the answer is no, I didn't. Basically, I just tie a loose pony tail to allow my fringe to take over and shape my face, that is why I never keep my fringe too long. I like it versatile, so that anytime I want it long or short, I can do it both ways!

This black dress is one of my favourites from the Metallic Minimalistic collection that I have just launched. I am selling it at $45 and if you really love this piece, do consider no more as it is the only piece in the world.The fabric quality and workmanship of this dress is so good, it makes me a happy and confident girl. To share, I always have crushes on silver and gold metallic heels and I feel like a wonder - girl whenever I put on such neutral yet outstanding colour. Wearing full black with silver shoes makes you a less dull person and definitely chic enough for you to get notice on the street hence do consider getting a pair of such versatile heel/flat to match your outfit.

It is crazily packed! I saw Roystan, catch up with old friends and made a few friends from different parts of the world. At the Tent @ Orchard, Marie France Bodyline collaborate with one of Singapore's Iconic fashion designers - Francis Cheong. The fashion show, Club Chinoiserie showcases his Spring/Summer 2011 Couture Collection show to celebrate the beauty and confidence of the modern Asian Woman via the details of his works. He has a very meticulous crafting skills and his use of striking embroidery with combination of his beadwork are beautiful. I totally love his concept of contributing to the fusion of modern and orient fashion and the runway music played did marry well together. Styling for Channel U

Blogspot was down a few days ago and I am glad I am back to this space again. Many interesting entries to update and to share this month! Lately, I was styling Shu Ann and Alaric Tay for a Channel U 10th Anniversary video and I was in rapturous delights with the set! It was so whimsical-like and a fusion of vintage furnitures make me simply an exciting girl! ok enough. I love how the roses stand out from the blacks and the whites. As such, I decided to style them accordingly to what I was given in the script of course and inspired by the rose colours of the set and to play a contrast, I chose a maroon shirt and a multi-coloured tube dress (made up of oranges,nudes,yellows and reds) for him/her. I am quite satisfied!

I was invited to an Exclusive Fashion show of limited edition of shoes wears featuring Puma, New Balance, Adidas, Nike and last but not least Android Homme at Soul a few weeks ago. I really love the daring mix and match of neon colours and the choice of the texture/material of the clothes used for the show really inspire me. Also, kicks from celebrities like Will.I.Am and Usher shown for the first time in Singapore at Soul and the music was so good that I started dancing alongside with these funky looking models. Lots of fun at Soul, definitely!

I find this place really lovely when Marcus brought me there for my shoot. I love this series of pictures very much and looking forward to more photoshoots to share with you. Although I am currently very busy with my school assignments, I already prepared many nice vintage clothes and beautiful accessories and ever ready for this coming weekend's shoot! I found this beautiful restaurant at the other quiet side of Singapore, and I told Marcus how much I want to get my pictures taken there! Therefore, please pardon me and do not get too frustrated with me for my long virtual disappearance/ late updates.

It is exam period now for NTU and I am struggling to cope between my school assignments and my outside works. And Sg election kinda make my day a little less duller because I actually find it quite amusing how people react towards the PAP and the opposition team from different GRCs. You know I can't wait to share what-i -know here and seriously test me on some of the politic questions, I think I can pass it with flying colours. Or maybe I will flunk it, because if you don't use the correct words, you can sound so bitchy over it. Ha. Well. Fb and twitters are flooded with SG elections, and I need to pitch for my final year project this week too in order to get a chance to direct. It is a crazy week indeed.

Anyway, some updates for this month:

How blur are you seriously? Check out here to witness the extremely hilarious acts of blurness committed by these people in the street! I witnessed all these live myself, believe me or not! I was one of Eric Khoo's talents on that day! I swear it is not acted out, it is a real test put on the public. Of course, there are people who spotted the change and got kinda mad with our prank. Oh well. You won't think that kind of mistake will happen to you? Well, you never know until you see/experience it yourself, they called it the change blindness. According to the statistic, 7/10 couldn't spot the change at all. Love to spot the differences and still wanna win some cash money and a free netbook giveaway, here you go!

I attended their event at Re hotel last week. It was sooo fun, and yes, I feel so good meeting Eric Khoo and Fong Cheng (producer) again. We had a great conversation on that day. Also, to gather around the bloggers especially seeing qiuting made my day! Perrrrfectttt!

Staying too much in school made me go mad, so FIONA was just so good in convincing me to get out of school for a drink at zouk last week. Since Yaowei was going, why not right? Wooden Clutch from La classic style

La Classic style has a wide range of pretty bags for you to choose from. I fell in love with the wooden clutch straight away and classic style has been very generous to me and I am grateful. (: Pretty stuffs are never enough.

Due to my bad performance in school, my grades are greatly affected. I feel really not motivated but my innermost me, knows that I just have to make good use of these 3 weeks to salvage the situations a little better. At least, I know I tried.

Hello. Finally back with some updates.

I really like the idea of marrying a nude inner wear with a sheer lacey maxi dress. It gives you a sort of protection wear that still able to add in a sense of sexiness. In fact, it enhances your sexiness when you know you are not at all revealing yet it gives some sort of illusion. You know what I mean. Not necessarily to wear a white inner wear for a sheer white dress or a black inner wear for a sheer black dress, I find them ultimate boring and nude inner wear can be considerably highly fresh and chic in trend too. What do you think?

Trust me, you are going to be so hot in it and you are in luck! I brought in some good stuff overseas to share, and I will update you guy all my favourite wears for this season and see me how I am going to mix and match them!
